Aubameyang hits double to fluster Milan new boys

Many new faces in AC Milan's squad, but Dortmund were far superior to the Italians, who still have mountains to climb in terms of improvement.
Borussia Dortmund looked the stronger side in the opening minutes, Ousmane Dembele firing two warning shots from outside the box inside the first five minutes. AC Milan attempted to fight back, but Niang's weak shot was straight into the hands of Weidenfeller.
The German side took a desrved lead in the 16th minute, Nuri Sahin powering the low drive into the bottom left corner. Pulisic pulled the ball back for the Turkey international at the edge of the box, Milan keeper Storari could not keep out his strike despite getting a hand to it.
Bosz's men continued to press and three minutes later they found their reward. Pulisic again involved as the US international went down in the area and the referee pointed to the spot. Star-striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stepped forward to fire his penalty past Storari.
A fantastic start from Dortmund was halted by Carlos Bacca who made the most of a mistake in the German defence. The Colombian intercepted a pass and, after a couple of lucky touches, found the bottom corner with the outside of his right foot.
Despite the rain, the sweltering heat and humidity prompted the official stop the match after thirty minutes, the players taking advantage to drink water and catch their breaths.
After the break, the Italian's looked more convincing, with both sides struggling to find spaces due to numerous imprecisions. However, when Milan pushed for the equaliser, Dortmund hit them with a devastating counterattack to put the game out of reach.
The 'rossoneri' took the corner kick which was cleared by Dortmund. The Germans raced up the other end, Gonzalo Castro teeing up Aubameyang with a low cross to the penalty spot, and the Gabon international did not miss.
From then on, Milan never looked capable of turning the result around. Both sides made many changes, introducing new faces such as Calhanoglu or Mussacchio on Montella's side, and Gotze was also awarded game-time after returning from his lengthy absence.
Calhanoglu looked lively in his first minutes for the Italians, going for goal on a couple of occasions and also setting up Antonelli who missed with only Reimann to beat.
Borussia Dortmund earned an emphatic and deserved win which proved Milan's squad is lacking a lot of hard work.
