Cristiano Ronaldo sets new goalscoring record

The goal opened the scoring against Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu but, according to L'Equipe, it also registered a historic value. This goal means Ronaldo has become the top goalscorer in the history of the top five European leagues.
Cristiano has scored 367 goals. 3 at Sporting de Portugal, 84 at Manchester United and 280 at Real Madrid, surpassing the 366 goals scored by Jimmy Greaves at Chelsea, AC Milan, Tottenham and West Ham.
Ronaldo scored three goals for Sporting before signing for Ferguson's United where he managed 84, and then went on to make history at Real Madrid scoring 280 La Liga goals.
The previous record was 37 years old, and his great rival in modern football is Leo Messi. The Argentine has scored 345 goals.
